Reno, NV–CURB was busy this fall making the rounds of some area economic development conferences and sharing the potential for urban revitalization through CURB Systems with planners and developers.
The International Economic Development Council (IECC) held its annual conference in Reno, Nevada October 4-7 and CURB was a featured presenter. IEDC brought together 1,200 industry leaders, expert speakers and others to share their experience and insight in dealing with the "Great Recession." Kane Dutt, CURB's Founder, was a Learning Lab presenter showing how the CURB System can help a city transform parking into an asset.
CURB also exhibited and presented at the American Planning Association State Conference held October 7-9 in Reno, Nevada. The theme was Grass Roots to Green Economy–A look at the people and businesses that are shaping Nevada’s future. Presenting in conjunction with urban planning group Wood Rodgers, Kane Dutt and CURB CEO Bruce Sanguinetti, shared the CURB model for urban redevelopment using their cost-effective, revenue producing, urban mobility system.
