CURB System's bike rental & bike sharing component is a great way for municipalities and campuses to discourage car and taxi use while providing a viable alternative for urban transportation. CURB’s bike rental & bike sharing is more efficient than walking and, coupled with existing mass transit, makes for hyper-efficient inter-city transportation. 

CURB’s bike rental & bike sharing is fully automated through the CURB’s Paypoint Kiosk and supports bike rental, bike sharing and bike storage from a single platform.

Bike Rental & Bike Share

Stocked with your own bicycles or our CURBCycle the CURB System is prepared to facilitate a subscriber or casual user based self-service bike rental or bike sharing program from single stand-along dispensing units to an integrated transit management solution for your district.

Use of the system is simple: riders sign up either online from their computer or cell phone or sign up directly on the kiosk. Upon arrival to the dispensing pod they insert their charge card on account (either a credit card or other custom card) allowing them to select the bicycle of their choice, which will instruct the appropriate bike vault to release.

The system can be configured to only allow round trips or allow returns at neighboring locations configured in our web-based CURBControl. A deposit can be held until the bike is returned electronically.

CURBControl will notify you of the location of all bicycles in the dispensing pods, preventative maintenance records, and other detailed information about the bikes to make servicing, distribution, and fulfillment processes seamless.

The dispensing units can be as small as 1 bicycle and as large as 250 bicycles per pod unit.

Bike Storage

Our bike vault can be configured to allow practically any bicycle to be quickly secured in a public environment, under the protection of an alarm, camera, and lights.

Securing a bicycle is easy: simply insert your charge card into the kiosk. The charge card will become your key for retrieval of the bike. A bike vault will open allowing you to secure your bicycle. Upon your return, insert the same card again and based on configurations your bike vault will open at either the price by user, location or subscription plan.
